Length: 45cm (50cm with lace, 53cm with chiffon)


Item Description:
Straight from Rouge Aerie Designs to you, this underbust jumperskirt is made of cotton sateen printed digitally by Spoonflower Inc. This print design is a Rouge Aerie Designs original, no longer available for public purchase. It’s a subtly morbid piece, perfect for any gothic lolita coordinate.The border print goes ‘round the entire length of the hem, repeating the same two skeletal beasties for your viewing pleasure. 

This jumperskirt features a lapped side zip and detachable waist ties for better fit. The front “tabs” are also detachable by way of the buttons on the bodice. This design is meant to be worn with a blouse underneath, to keep you modest and sweet. 

All Rouge Aerie Designs pieces are best worn with a petticoat for proper poof to show off the print’s details. You can change the shape or style of the outfit by adding extra layers of petticoats (not included in sale). 

All seams are serged for durability of wear and care. Extra buttons can be included at no extra charge, upon request. If you would like a set of spares to be added to your package, please include that in the note section of your order!

ITEM CARE:
To keep things fresh, dry cleaning is preferred for finished garments. 

For at home cleaning, hand wash in cold water with phosphate free detergent, then hang dry. Iron or steam on cotton setting.

DO NOT put this garment into a washing machine or dryer. While they have fully finished seams and will not fall apart, the fabric will fade because of how roughly the machines treat the material and can distress or damage the print.


OTHER NOTES:
This JSK was a prototype piece. There are also some minor flaws as follows:

- Uneven zip meeting under arm
- Rough buttonholes
- Extra-long waist ties
- Chiffon shorter and gathered somewhat unevenly due to hand application
- Hidden pinholes under pleats from basting (these are not visible when the garment is worn and I have “shrunk” them as much as possible with my iron/steam)
- Print is from first draft of materials; this colourway was later edited to have more contrast

Please see last photograph for details of the pinhole and zip issues. As these flaws are not present on other garments in the same line, the price difference reflects this fact. 

This JSK has also been worn briefly for the photographs not included in this listing.
