Hey Anon. We actually cover a bit of this this in our FAQ, but I’ll give you a few more details here!
The reason custom sizing isn’t an option at present is because of minimum order quantities with our factory. Each size requested has a minimum number we have to order to be produced. Thus, we can’t do custom sizing, because we’d have to order multiples of that size. Whether this will change in future is as yet uncertain.
However, we are making adjustments for future lines to improve fit over the range. We are planning on adding other sizes (the Nightmare Rising was produced in sizes AU6-16). We’re also adding details in designs which include partial shirring, corset lacing, adjustable shorter straps, and waist ties for better, more easily customisable fit within each size. If you haven’t already, please feel free to add your feedback to this questionnaire, as well. We’re using it to determine the sizing for upcoming design runs, as well as the proportionate amounts of each size to be produced within those runs.
Since you’re on the lower edge of our size 6 and the Nightmare Rising line has already finished production, the only recommendation we could make would be to buy the 6 and have it tailored for your bust measurements.
Hey there, anon. We’ve just paid for the shipment of Nightmare Rising dresses that were waiting in China so they’ll be in stock soon. We don’t have an ETA yet, as they’ll be coming by sea freight.
Unfortunately, while we’re looking at adding an 18 and 20 to our size range, the largest we released for the Nightmare Rising dresses is an Australian/UK 16.
We’ve added the “submit” button to the blog so you can now show us your stuff! Have a cool project that you completed with one of our fabrics? Have a neat coordinate you wore using one of our designs? Show it off! We’ll share it with the world!
Hey anon! Which JSK do you mean?
If the Nightmare Rising JSK, right now it’s going to be mostly a matter of “which shop has the size and colour I want in stock?” (Here’s a list of the shops that currently have Nightmare Rising dresses available.) Until the situation between ODIP and the factory has been resolved, the dresses are pretty limited in stock.
If you mean the Countess Gabrielle JSK, you will be able to order directly from Rouge Aerie once the dresses go up for pre-order! We’re working on the manufacturing situation presently, and hope to have news by the middle of next month.
